Bengt-Åkes presentation was interesting to me because it adressed the role of government in fostering increased innovation in business and society by creating the appropritate framework conditions. But is a prerequisite not also that government itself is innovative? Could “innovative government” also be a dimension of national competitiveness? MindLab is part of three national ministries in Denmark where we apply a user-centric approach to develop government policy and new public services.
